The Upper Valley Zen Center, in downtown White River Junction, Vermont, is a Buddhist practice center, in the tradition of Rinzai Zen, led by Gendo Allyn Field, lay ordained monk in the community of Joshu Sasaki.

We offer instruction to newcomers. We support a Zen practice group at Dartmouth College. We sponsor speakers and seminars in the cause of public education on topics in Buddhism.

On this website we report our activities and our plans for future events.

We depend entirely on donations for rent, for all that we do. Help us bring the energy and insight of Zen to our community. Join us for practice. Join our supporters. For details, read on.
