A PLAN AND CALENDAR FOR THE YEAR
PLAN FOR 2025
• Retreats:
• Location: Day-long retreats can happen at the Zen Center. Longer ones require a place. (Orford?) Other options? (Kanjo’s?)
• Organization: We need people/a person (Shika) who will take charge of organizing the retreat and publicizing it, finding a location, and finding people to take on various roles.
• Roles: Retreat (assuming enough people) involves four roles, besides Osho (teacher): Jikijitsu (timekeeper), Shoji (door keeper), Densu (chant leader), Tenzo (cook).
• Schedule: day-long the second Sunday of the month. Three day May 22-25. Five day, December 5-9 (Rohatsu). (Multiday retreats fall on conclusion of Seichu.)
Day long: Feb 9, March 9, June 8, July 13, Aug 10, Sept 14
Three day: May 23-25
Rohatsu: December 5-9
• Seichu: (10 week commitment to practice, study and community)
• Spring: March 20 – May 25 (Text? )
• Fall: October 2- December 9 (TBA)
